22209 Mumbai Delhi Duronto Express on its Inaugural run.
Inaugural run of 22209 was run as train No. 02209 NDLS - Duronto Special.
was flagged off by Mayor of Mumbai Sunil Prabhu from Mumbai Central (BCT) on at 12.25 hrs.
to reach New-Delhi at 8.30 hrs ,
(expected time can be reach before or after given time also ) the next day.
on inaugural run duronto express having
#22560 Vadodara(BRC)WAP-4e on its first run.
i was expecting WAP-5 or WAP7 as locomotive link .
Train was nicely decorated with flowers a pure LHB rakes goes in nice speed running 15 min late at Borivali (BVI) due to mega-block in Mumbai.
it was great experience when this green train passed from Borivali from me on inaugural run i was dam excited to capture it in my camera . i was waiting for this moment from almost 10 months and finally dream come true. i will surely travel by this train in future .

Since train was introduced in 2011 Rail budget by Mamata Banerjee. this was my most awaited train to run in Mumbai-Delhi Sector one of my favorite now .i was waiting for it from May 2011 to start it, and finally it run on = 18/march/2012 at 12:25 from Mumbai central (BCT).

Train # 22209 Mumbai - New Delhi – AC Duronto Express will leave BCT at 23:15 on Monday and Friday to reach New Delhi Next day at 16:55. This train is going to take 17 Hrs. and 40 minutes with average speed of 78.6 Kmph. This train will be closely followed by BCT-ADI AC Duronto and PUNE-ADI -- AC Duronto Express.
Train # 22210 New Delhi - Mumbai – AC Duronto Express will leave NDLS at 23:30 on Tuesday and Saturday to reach Mumbai next day at 16:20. So accordingly this Duronto will overtake another Duronto i.e. Ernakulum Duronto which is leaving NZM at 21:35 on Saturday. This must be fun for all Mumbai RF to capture both Duronto on Sunday. This train will also overtake Swaraj on its both running day. This train is going to take 16 Hrs. and 50 minutes with average speed of 82.5 K-mph.
